Congratulations! You have found the website for Newton Abbot Community Transport

Providing accessible, affordable transport and services for our local community, supporting increased mobility, social contact and independance since 1991

This new website will provide all the information you need to be able to take advantage of this valuable community service. It will include an option to pre-book transport, make reservations for trips and excursions, look up frequently asked questions, register for the ring and ride service, and much, much more.

What is transport for your community?

"It's for the many people, especially those that live in rural communities in some of the more isolated parts of Devon. It's to support the many who may live miles from access to the nearest bus route, those being unable physically of using public transport, or those that simply cannot afford the costs of taxi fares".

Well, there's good news ... and more good news! Transport for the community provides transport torideandride shops, services, leisure activities, or everyday appointments, where no transport or no suitable transport is available.

Newton Abbot Community Transport, based near to the multi-storey car park in Sherborne Road, is a charity grant aided by Devon County Council, Teignbridge District Council, Newton Abbot Town Council, Kingsteignton Parish Council, and various other local Parish Councils. We are also supported by charitable trust and funding bodies, local businesses, organisations and individuals without whom we could not continue to provide this most valuable service.
